I’ve been thinking of switching to eating organic because everyone says how healthy it is. But really, what’s so healthy about it? When you look at the back of labels of a lot of organic food, there’s so much fat, sugar, and sodium… which is NOT healthy.

So what is it? What’s so healthy or great about organic foods?

Best answer:

Answer by YahooAnswerer
No pesticides. It’s a scam in my opinion though.

Question by Alex Szwarc: How can I find coupons for vegan food, since it is so expensive, without downloading a toolbar?
My dad says I need to find coupons for the vegan food I need because it is so expensive. From little things like soy milk or almond milk, vegan cheese, etc, to any other things I will need to remain vegan. Every website I find needs me to download something, which I am unable to do. Can anyone help me?

Best answer:

Answer by Glorious Chilidog
LOL…Soy milk is only a dollar more a gallon that regular milk and canned beans/boxed rice are so cheap. You are going for prefab items that you absolutely don’t need.

Canned beans
Boxed or bagged rice
Barley
Oats
Cereal
Peanut butter
Canned or frozen fruits and vegetables
Potatoes and Onions
Vegetable bullion cubes

I feed a family of 4 on 75.00 a week! If you need more help message me.

Question by 茶 ŘǺŴ ΡσώΣŖ 茶: Is sprouted bread a whole food and/or a raw food?
Here’s the tag line:

Sprouted bread is an unleavened simple food, full of whole grain nutrients with a moist grainy texture. Bio-Dynamically grown grain is sprouted in filtered water, minced and formed into a loaf in which the germ and bran fibre are retained. No Preservatives, No Dairy, No Flour, No Sugar, No Salt, No Eggs or other animal products used. Contains Gluten. Yeast Free

And here are the ingredients:
Biodynamic wheat sprouted in purified water, non organic rolled oats, sunflower kernels, pepitas, millet and sesame seeds

Should I consider this a raw food or one of my few cooked foods?

THANKS!

(BTW it tastes like nuts, and is really yummy, nothing like “normal” bread)

Best answer:

Answer by freeyourself1anarchist
I know the food for life Ezekial breads are not raw as they are cooked above the 110 degree mark but if you are making a raw sprouted bread as in full raw which I am sure is possible then obviously that is raw but I think most sprouted breads in a typical store are probably cooked above a certain point (I think Ezekial is cooked to 230 if I remember correctly) to actually somewhat bake them. This one sounds like it might be raw but not sure!
