Question by Veronica (hunters momma): help my family won’t cook “good”foods?
Do you ever notice the difference in the type of dinners and suppers different families make? like growing up, my mom would always make sure we had a veggie like green beans or carrots to go w/ our meat and potatoes. my gma was into making all in ones such as soup and salads w/ sandwichs. i now live w/ my bf and his family and his mom makes unhealthy food! she made tater tot casserole last nite it was tater tots and hamburger and cream of mushroom soup topped with ketchup. it was good but not healthy you know what i mean? we have dinners like this almost everynite. we have cheese dogs, sloppy joes, pizza, cheeseburgers, nachos, homemade tacos, things like that. never ever ever accompanied by any veggies at all and rarely potatoes either. if we have a side, its usually the ore ida kind of onion rings, fries or tater tots. or chips. it tastes good but i miss having things like fried corn, fried squash, fried potatoes and onions, a side of potatoes, pot roasts and things like that. his mom makes dinner almost everynight and i cant tell her how to do things in her own home so what can i do to be able to integrate more meal-type dinners into my life and my fiance’s life? i’m sick of eating 1 course meals and basically junk.

Buy your own healthy food and try talking to your bf’s mother about making healither food
